APRIL 2012

As at April 2012 we made a formal application to the IEC to change our colours; logo and or distinguishing mark. This change process begun with an advertisement we placed in the Government Gazette. Membership books have now been distributed. Branches are being established across the country. Numerous meetings and interactions are taking place with Leaders of the religious communities, including donors.

Even though we only had one week in which to prepare, on 25 April 2012, we contested our first by election in Cape Town. The intent was to begin a process of preparation & planning as a dress rehearsal for the 2014 National & Provincial Govt elections. A special thanks must be extended to our candidate, Mrs Alewaya Traut, who despite being ill and having to undergo surgery a day immediately after the by election, gave her all to make a foot print for our Party in this constituency. A note of thanks must also be extended to John Thompson; Martin Adamson and all the ladies and volunteers for all the hard work in this by election.

UPCOMING CONVENTIONS

We are scheduled to convene various colloquiums in the various provinces as part of our teaching and preaching program, which includes a mobilization program to teach & preach the message of the cross & the message of Jesus Christ our Saviour.
